v2.0 & v3.0 - Bug ID6: Keyring appears after installation

When Leeenux starts, it may ask you for keyring password. Enter "1" ("2" for v2), and then there are two solutions:

Solution I:

  1. Right-click on the wireless applet in the task bar
  2. Find your wireless connection, and hit Edit.
  3. Check the option “Available to all users”.

Solution II:

  1. Open up your Home Folder
  2. Press CTRL-H (or click View>Show Hidden Files)
  3. Find a folder called .gnome2 (it has a period at the beginning of the name) and open it by double clicking on it
  4. In side of the .gnome2 folder, there is another folder called keyrings.  Open it up.
  5. Delete any files you find within the keyrings folder
  6. Restart the computer

Won't Fix in v1- Bug ID5: Screenshots dont work

Package will not be included because it requires many programs to be installed and thus it's bloating. If you wish to install it, simply install gnome-utils via synaptic.

Resolved in v1.3 - Bug ID4: Evolution is not installed

Simply install it via Add/Remove and remove gnome-pilot via synaptic.

Resolved in v1.2 - Bug ID3: Username & Password

Description: After installation, it might happen that username and password you entered will not be accepted. If this happens, the default username and password are "eee" and "1234". This can be corrected in Users&Groups menu, if someone bothers.

Resolved in v1.3 - Bug ID2: Correct GRUB menu

1. Start Terminal

2. Type or paste in the next line:

sudo perl -pi -e 's/Easy Peasy 1.0/Leeenux 1.1/g' /boot/grub/menu.lst

3. Enter password

Bug ID1: No graphical GRUB boot menu

To get nice grub menu type following commands in terminal:

sudo wget -O /usr/share/leeenuxsplash.xpm.gz "http://leeenux-linux.com/Leeenux/leeenuxsplash.xpm.gz"
sudo cp /boot/grub/menu.lst /boot/grub/menu2.lst
sudo perl -pi -le 'print "splashimage (hd0,0)/usr/share/leeenuxsplash.xpm.gz" if $. == 27' /boot/grub/menu.lst
sudo perl -pi -le 's/hiddenmenu/\# hiddenmenu/g' /boot/grub/menu.lst
